In your experience, what's the easiest format to start up? It looks like most of the guys in my family want to start a league, and someone's going to have to get the ball rolling soon. So I'm guessing it's Yahoo, and standard scoring etc... anything else you'd recommend in order to keep it simple, stupid?

Yeah, Yahoo! and standard scoring is pretty simple, also in my experience "idiot proof"! ;-D

Maybe it's a given but I'd say redraft, snake. No keepers, not a dynasty, not an auction, no IDP.

and put 5-10 dollars on it. That way people stay interested.

For some reason it's so hard for my league to pony up $10 to play. Good luck though ;-D

Yeah, it'll probably be a $20 league with family penalties for people who don't maintain their teams (ie "You're buying the food and drink for Thanksgiving, jerky!"

Forget yahoo, go to Fanball or RTSports. Make em pay 5-10$ for the league and get live scoring. And, make sure they throw in an extra couple of bucks for SB winner etc. Live Scoring is what FF is all about!
