Who would be the best running back at the end of the season going to week 4?

Priest and LT come to mind. Portis, if he can avoid all these injuries, has a shot and so does Ricky. Others that have a chance are McAllister, A. Green, Alexander, and maybe even Lewis.

Priest Holmes. Barring injury, no one can contend with him.

Close behind him I think you'll find Ricky Williams, Clintis Portis, LT, and I'm gonna say Ahaman Green.

That is tough, I think it is Portis. But I may be a little biased because I have him on my team...

I think S. Davis is way underrated and might be a possibility to add to that list ;-D

He may not be the strongest (physical stature wise) or the toughest (with most heart), but boy can Portis move. Its awesome watching him hit a hole.

barring injury to all players, it's obviously priest because of the number of TD's he gets on top of consistant yardage.

i still don't see why everyone has tomlinson over ricky. it just doesn't make sense to me. ricky has shown he's consistant and on a good team. tomlinson is all by himself in SD and has suffered from it so far this year (even his "good" game this last week wasn't anything special).

i'd have it:

holmes, portis, williams

and then to me it's a crapshoot between mccallister, tomlinson, davis, ahman green...
It doesn't need to be in good taste, so long as it tastes good

Priest is a God! Far and away looks to be the best fantasy back this year. Ricky Rasta is proving to be a workhorse extraordinaire and has a slight edge over Portis because of his health. It is early yet and LT looks to be getting warmed up, and Lewis is an vital part of the Ravens O. Also look for Gary too make a late charge!
