I would put the bigger pic of cambpell not on transparency or soft light or watever you have it on now. Try putting it on a normal blending mode and then do a different pic effect on it. I think at least one pic should be clearly visible. I would maybe try duplicating the pic then having the bottom one motion blurred and the top normal, or you could just motion blur the bottom and do watever pic effect you want on the top. and tone down the bright yellow a bit.
