well if you want to pick in the middle, go with 500. You'll be right around the average, so more than likely every other person wont pick above or below you. In other words, if you pick very high or very low (like 990 or 014) then you're most likely going to get either the first pick or the last pick. But if you pick around 500 its likely that a few people will pick #s above and a few will pick #s below yours, giving you a pick somewhere in the middle of the 6 managers.
