Im in a draft where i get 7th pick of first round, 5th pick in round 3,5,7,9,11 , have no idea how i drew a 5 5 times in a row
We have to draft a starting lineup first, meaning if someone took a rb in either round 1 or 2, i wouldnt have to take one until round 6. We also get pts for d td or return and shutout
That means noone can draft a 2nd rb or wr untill round 7.
Should i take the 12th best rb or wr in round 6 and use a strategy like taking gates with pick 7, then 2nd round take larry fitgerald, 3rd round bears, 4th round take delomme, 5th round take best kicker and then 6th round take my rb. Im scared of who that 12th rb would be
7th round i get 5th pick
I could get manning with 7th pick, then take rb in 2nd round, someone like cooley in round 3, and take the 12 th best wr late
so many strategies in a league like this but fun as hell having to show up to pick every odd round.
Hope people understand what im saying. Example, if i had 12th pick and everyone took an rb i wouldnt need to take my rb until round 6 because they cant draft another until round 7
Ok, that draft explanation still doesnt make any sense to me.
Either way, beyond "take Alexander!" I can offer really no advice. Playing in a TD-only league is just way too inconsistent and luck-basd to have much real strategy to the draft. Might as well add IDPs, but dont shell out any points for tackles.
take alexander , he wont be there at pick 8 dude, 12 team league
If you can read i said you have to draft a starting lineup first which means you can't draft any of those positions again until round 7 meaning you can't draft a 2nd rb until round 7, so yes this is a great league to be in and involves great strategy because i can draft the best defense with pick 5 in round 3 if i want and just decide to take the 12th best in round 6. You should understand that if 11 rb is taken in lets say the end of the 2nd round it would be stupid to take a rb in round 3 because i can wait until round 6. SIMPLE STUFF IF YOU CAN READ.

That's a good way to get people to help you. Call them names.
Your post makes sense to me except you didn't mention what the starting lineup needs to be. If you can only draft starters and only can take one RB does that mean you only start one RB?

Yeah, I can read but I can't read your mind.
As for my advice. Draft whoever scores the most TDs.

He wasn't saying to take Alexander, he was making a quip at a number of other posters who use simple one line phrases to answer a question on a given forum. Many of these phrases tend to be very obvious and add nothing to the conversation.
Whether or not you understand his humor, being a meany will probably not get you any more constructive responses.

You still havent posting the starting lineup for this league, and you're actually complaining I couldn't read it. Not to mention that if I actually take what you posted here for what it means, if 1 person took a RB in the 1st round, no one could until round 7. That is what your words say. But I'm the idiot for not reading your mind, and deciphering this? Okay there buddy...
With these, you can have some pretty nice projections for next year's TD totals. Though it isn't perfect, it should help. There ya go. You can use your own discretion about which round to draft which position.
Edit: And obviously be smart about things. Things have changed from year to year.. You may want to just look at the 2005 season... or look at it the most, rather.
