I just looked it up and Teddy Ballgame has the correct answer.

White and McDaniel hold the record with 11.

EDIT LAST POST - I could be wrong.

One site I checked has White and McDaniel at 11 and another has McDaniel at 12.

I think McDaniel at 12 is the correct answer. The first site I checked was probably just outdated.

Merlin Olsen definitely went to 14 Pro Bowls. I can't find anyone else that went to more (and I know that McDaniel went to 12) so we'll see what DDD has as the answer.

I looked up the 2001 pro bowl roster and Randall wasn't on it anywhere I looked...for the Merlin one, it said he was invited 14 times, but maybe he didn't go 14 times? I don't know.

Very good question. Looked everywhere and just wrote first player that google showed after a while. First is said Reggie White and then that good old rams CB. Eh who cares.

While wondering this same question and spending some time trying to find a website which displayed the NFL record for number of appearances in a pro bowl (which wasn't easy), I ran across this forum and then finally found the answer. Merlin Olsen wasn’t the only player to appear in 14 Pro Bowls.

Bruce Matthews tied Merlin Olsen in 2001 with his 14th selection to the Pro Bowl...

NBA - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (selected to 19, played in 18)
NHL - Gordie Howe (23) (played a few more in minor leagues)

Bruce Matthews was actually unable to play in his final Pro Bowl due to injury. So even though he was selected for 14, he didn't play in 14.
