I'm looking at the draft board from last year. 6 of the 8 owners will be returning. In the 1st three [3] RDS seven QBs were taken and 6 WRs. Last year we had a two [2] QB format but the position was undervalued. We dropped that format for this season and bumped up the QB points a bit. I'm guessing most of the owners will rate QBs as the #1 priority.

My strategy is to go RB/RB/WR/WR/QB. I was thinking of going RB for my 1st three picks because of the swing position we have this year, allowing you to start three [3] RBs. But I'm guessing I should be able to snag a top 6 WR if I go 3rd RD and then PU a decent sleeper RB in the later rounds or someone off the WW later for a solid number three. I got the jump on everyone last year on getting FA's.

It really depends on your position and who's still on the board. If QB's go as high as you think they will then you'll have some valuable RB's or WR dropping down into the 3rd-4th round. Especially with only 8 teams in the league. I agree RB/RB/WR/WR will be very possible with your small league and lots of QB hunting early.

Even with the top 7 QB's gone, you're still looking at possibly Bulger, Culpepper, Brooks. That seems about the right range, and I'd be more then happy with them if I could say get Sjax, Rudi Johnson, Boldin and S. Moss. Which is very possible if you have a late round pick and the others all use round 2 or 3 on QB's.

Overall, good it make sense to me I guess is what I'm trying to say ;-D

Never go QB early when your have a flex spot. Make sure you fill that first. I'd advocate any combo that gets you 3 RBs and 2 WRs with your first 5 picks, then if a good QB drops to the 6th, stela him. If not, oh well, quality QBs are falling to round 10 even.

RBs are easily the most valuable at 15 yards per point. The 150/200 yard milestones are virtually out of reach anyways. I wouldn't worry about grabbing a QB assuming you grab RBs and WRs early.
ADMIN edit: please note that the overall sig limit is 12k - thanks!

You're right. Even in this league I can see decent QBs slipping into the later rds. RB/RB/WR/WR/Flex/best available

What would be more realistic "yardage milestones" for QB/RB/WR?
