My son took his first step into manhood today and lost his first tooth. I was wondering what the going rate for a tooth is from the tooth fairy these days? I cant even remember what I got when I was a kid, but im sure inflation has caused the tooth fairy to have to up the rates.

$5.....really?!
Yeah.. strange, though.. My piggy bank always seemed lighter the next day.
HAHAHA your parents are sick sick people.
I usually got around a dollar or 2, sometimes my mom would give me a $2 bill so it was something kinda special(this was back when they still used those)
Funny, I was just discussin this with a co-worker the other week. She said she gives her kids $10 for the first tooth they lose, then $5 for every tooth after that.
I remember getting $1 when I lost teeth.
I understand inflation, but $10 for a tooth? That's ridiculous.
