Commish needs help!

I've got 4 brothers playing in a 12 team money league and things are starting to look shady. Please give opinions on their latest trade attempt.

Ferguson and Grammitica (2nd round pick), for Mike Anderson.

w/o knowing anything else, that trade doesnt jump out as being completely shady. however, the 4 brothers thing does add a sheisty element to the mix.

grammatica a 2nd round pick? i assume this is a keeper league?

not a keeper league, they are all agreeing on the trade and threatening to trash the league if it does not go through.

I don't know if I like their attitude towards things, but I agree that this trade doesn't look all that shady. Gramatica shouldn't have been taken in the second round, anyway. Don't fret it.

NO way that's a veto. And, I'm the commish of a league where my brother is in it. And we have another set of brothers. I think it's important not to rule by fiat. It takes four to veto, and I posted that vetos should only be used for collusion.

I don't see anything wrong with that trade. It's basically a waiver pickup and an underachieving kicker on his BYE week for Anderson. Anderson is probably a top-5 RB on weeks Portis doesn't go. He will probably be insignificant, but he has the potential to win a fantasy championship for you (if Portis were to get seriously hurt). You cant say that about Ferguson or Gramatica.

If people have a problem with 4 brothers playing in a money league, they should have been addressed before the season.

I don't see anything wrong with it really. Ferguson is a marginal WR who is plaqued with injuries, and getting a kicker thrown in really doesn't make it any better, and Anderson is Portis' backup who might start this week but is also banged up. I don't see the problem with the trade; and what kind of a fool takes a kicker in the 2nd round?

I also do not see anything wrong with that trade but the problem is not the trade. It is them holding the "noose" over your head if you don't agree. Now you know why I as a Commish only let a max. of 2 managers to know each other personally or be related. This is a scary thing for any Commish since they could ruin your hard work by a "mutiny" on the league. I also do not let a new manager that joins (who knew someone already in the league and "nrought them in) to be allowed ANY trades to take place until after 1 season. It has never been a problem in my league 7+ years going strong. Gotta nip that collusion in the "hiney" asap or it will fester until it destroys your league.
