Don't forget it's standard Yahoo scoring, which is f-ed up to begin with:

Every 50 passing yards: 1 point
Each passing TD: 6 points
Each interception thrown: -2 points
Every 20 rushing yards: 1 point
Each rushing TD: 6 points
Every 20 receiving yards: 1 point
Each receiving TD: 6 points
Each return TD: 6 points
Each Off Fum Ret TD: 6 points
Each 2-point conversion: 2 points
Each fumble lost: -2 points

Oh, I was aware of that coming into it. I was going to draft Brandon Jacobs pretty early if they kept it like that but I foudn out a few minutes before the draft that they ended up changing it to 25/4/1 for passing and 10/6 for rush & rec. Return TD's for players is a little sketchy (I know just about all leauges count them) but they've got it for both players and defensive teams. So if you had Reggie Bush and New Orleans' defense, you got to double dip when he made a return TD. Absolutely stupid.

Had the 6th seed, Scobee had to be a hero, now I'm the 9th seed :~(

I'm 5th. Top 6 seeds are in the playoffs. I'm pimping the Harrington/Green combo at QB thanks to Warner and Leftwich hosing me. The worst part about this league is that there is no claims system over the weekend so these goobers snatch up the hot guys like Anthony Thomas as soon as the starters get hurt. Unless you've got your laptop in front of you at all times, you don't have a chance on the waiver wire. Oh well, it was a free league. Can't complain too much. I've still got a shot.

So I'm in Evans' league and I've had a pretty tough run of luck. I've got little chance of making the playoffs at 5-6 and in 9th overall place.

I feel that if I had a different schedule I would at the very least make the playoffs as I do have a high point total, just not the wins to show it.

In the H2HSB I have a pretty similar team that is 8-3 so there must be something funky going on.

Right now I am second in the Evans league, but Evans is in first.

You and I have a complete role reversal in the two leagues we're in.

Anyway, while I'm very disappointed in my record in Evans' league I don't feel it's exactly something I could have controlled. That's just the luck part of the game. I still think if I make it into the playoffs I'll be a force, but the chances of that seem low. I need the three 6-5 teams to lose at least one game and then for me to win out the next two games...which includes beating you next week.

Yeah, I've totally dropped in the H2HSB league. But if I can beat a Yahoo "Expert," then I shall reign supreme.

If I win and Evans loses this week, and you beat me next week eventually leading to the playoffs, then everyone's happy!

Well I will finish with a record of 6-7, and Funston will be the #1 seed if LJ Smith puts up a good game.

It was fun, and I really hope I get a second chance at beating Funston in the baseball league.
