I'm in Brad Evans' league. I was a little bummed to not play against Funston but Brad seemed competent in his draft so it still works out fine.

I'm ok with my team but it certainly could have been better.

QB: Bledsoe
RB: Tiki Barber
RB: Jamal Lewis
WR: Terrell Owens
WR: Derrick Mason
WR: Reggie Brown
TE: Heath Miller
K: John Kasay
D: Baltimore

Bn: Ahman Green
Bn: Keyshawn Johnson
Bn: Vernand Morency
Bn: Reche Caldwell
Bn: LaBrandon Toefield
Bn: Bobby Engram

I think I'm going to have a competitive team in this league. I'm pretty lean on RBs so I have to hope Jamal Lewis and Barber hold up until Fragile Freddy gets injured and I have a little more option there.

So how is everyone doing? Im in the Evans league, had a few good weeks to lead the league 2-0 with high points. Evans is 1-1.

He's got me beat 570 to 530 in points right now and has won the battle of the lucky matchups and is 6-0 while I am 3-3 thanks to a f-ed up scoring system. I just lost by 4 points because they count return TD's for both individual players AND team defenses. Anyway, he drafted Tatem Bell and I drafted Mike Bell, so he won that one as well. Kurt Warner losing his job hurt me. The other guy from here is 2-4 with 408 points.

Funston is on top of his sh** here. He picked up Morris 30 minutes before I got an e-mail from footballguys.com saying that Alexander had a broken foot. I guess it helps to be in the industry.

Here is his starting lineup these days:
Hasselbeck
Owens
Bryant
Galloway
LJ (got him with the 3rd overall pick - crap)
Dunn/T.Bell (Bell was a 6th round pick)
LJ Smith
Stover
SD

Mine:
Leftwich (in place of Warner)
R.Moss
R.Williams
Coles
S.Jackson
T.Jones
Winslow
Feely
CIN

I still think the Brooks/Moss combo would've been great if Art Shell wasn't a moron. In hindsight, Mike Bell in the 5th (14 team) was a mistake that really bit me when he took Tatem in the 6th (2 picks before me). Mike Anderson really helped me last year, so I had faith that Shanahan just really didn't have faith in Tatem Bell or at the very least that he would employ the same strategy that he did last year. I'd be ok with 239 carries for Mike Bell (same # Anderson got the year before).

My team stinks big time.

But I still feel the same way about my draft when I finished it. Only thing I would have done differently is grab Portis instead of Jordan.

Don't forget it's standard Yahoo scoring, which is f-ed up to begin with:

Every 50 passing yards: 1 point
Each passing TD: 6 points
Each interception thrown: -2 points
Every 20 rushing yards: 1 point
Each rushing TD: 6 points
Every 20 receiving yards: 1 point
Each receiving TD: 6 points
Each return TD: 6 points
Each Off Fum Ret TD: 6 points
Each 2-point conversion: 2 points
Each fumble lost: -2 points
