Probably giving her the Lucci treatment...

They're most likely just flattering her before she croaks. If I were her (which I would NEVER want to be of course), I'd be pissed for being patronized. :-t

And if I were one of the other nominees, and if she wins...I'd be going Clarett on their asses. :-o

She's already won an Academy Award, so it's not like she hasn't been respected within the acting community already. Getting an award for 15 seconds of work should be given to porn stars, don't you think? :-D

Why do they need an awards show, anyway? And if they want to have one, why should it be televised? Why do I care what some out-of-touch-with-reality Hollywood voting body perceives as "quality" entertainment?

I've never watched any of these shows and I doubt I ever will. I just can't understand the interest they generate.
