1st time using ESPN.
Is it worth upgrading to edge or whatever its called? We have 12 people so the expense is not really an issue.

What is the upgrade like?

thanks

The edge gives you access to about 10 times as many articles as you would get otherwise and real time scoring. I enjoy the articles, so I have it on a year round basis. Fantasy team wise....great for baseball, football sucks.

Outside of Yahoo, CBS has the rep of having the worst fantasy writers. On ESPN, Cockcroft, Karabell and Engle are good. But beware, the drafts themselves can be brutal.

They crash more often than they should on a site as large as Espn. I had one scheduled for Tuesday and I couldn't even enter the draft room. When they went to free teams last year I think it may have overwhelmed them. It's a little better this year, but still real iffy. Some people have no problems, so I guess it's owner beware.

Edge = computer crashing...sorry scratch that, ESPN=computer crashing.

Espn is poorly run and Edge is just live scoring and a few articles that you can get for free EVERYWHERE else (sportsline, etc)

ESPN is a total rip off and waste of time. :-t
