This would be classified as new rock or like omaha said, modern rock. Along the same lines as bands like Disturbed, RA, Chevelle, & Godsmack. Although they definately stand out from the crowd. I've been a fan of them ever since I've heard their first single, Polyamorous. The dudes voice is just sweet

Too bad I've read some review where they said they toned down the riffs and whatnot.. booooo
I don't agree that they've toned down the riffs. It just sounds like good ol' Breaking Benjamin to me. This is probably my favorite album of theirs, and I was a huge fan of We Are Not Alone Here. Definitely worth $10. I think if you buy it at Best Buy it comes with a remixed version of The Diary of Jane.

Thanks for the info. This isn't really my kind of music.

The riffs stayed somewhat hard(which I'm happy for) but they definately added a lot more melody into these songs. I kinda wish they had a few more songs like Diary of Jane or Skin from the previous albums but I can't complain. Definately worth the 10 bucks if you are a BB fan or just a fan of newer rock

My favorites on the new album are Breath, Dance With the Devil, Evil Angel, Here We Are and Had Enough. The entire album is good though.

See, I'm not a huge fan of the newer rock, but BB struck me as just a good band. Love the guy's voice and emotion. Cold was a very good song.
