every time I cut a guy out, i think to myself "there's got to be a faster, better looking way to do this, personally i just erase the background, used to use the lasso, but that takes quite awhile, im worst at the helmets, I can't cut out a helmet for beans. what do you guys do?

i use the magnetic pen tool. its time consuming, and kinda weird, but if you take your time you can make a pretty good cut.

I use the pen tool. I used to extract everything, but that took twice as long. There's really no fast way of cutting out images, but the pen tool probably is the fastest.

i also use the pen tool. its just what ive always done. there are probably faster ways, but the pen can be pretty accurate...and the more you do it, the easier it is.

I simply use the erases and just zoom in and erase around the player. Goes pretty quick and is as accurate as you are.

I use polygonal lasso and circular marquee tool for helmets, basketballs, and some heads. Cut usually takes about 4-5 minutes.

i use the magnetic lasso in very small chunks. Then i just go back with a 1 3 or 5 px eraser to get spots the lasso didnt get.
