Personally, I think th articel is dead on on wht the Eagles should be doing. Keep Avant, we traded up to get him, he deserves a shot. Reggie Brown and Baskett obviously keep. Then its down to Bloom, Lewis, Pinkston, Gaffney, and McCants to fight over the 3 remaining spots. Personally I'd drop Pinkston, and if JR Reed returns to form Bloom could end up the other odd man out, or Gaffney could prove not to be essentially "Pinkston, but without the wussiness" in which case he'd be gone.
If I were a Philly fan, I'd want Pinkston to be dropped and this guy kept. But, they need him there since he knows the system probably better than any other player. But I get a feeling that "In The Basket" may see more playing time than Pinky.

pinkstons done enough damage to the team, the guys afraid to cut across the middle and make an effort for the team, hes mr alligator arms. Its worth a chance to give Baskett a shot as a starter and Avant alot of playing time becuase neither of time could be a large decrease from pinkston. Both are young hungry kids..Avant comes from one of the best college programs in the country and Baksett has a chip on his shoulder from not being drafted. Greg Lewis is another waste too him and Pinky are better off playing for the Philly Soul
BUT, people get so wrapped up in his sucktitude, that we forget that the guy is fast, and he does stretch the field. This offense needs that.
