Even if Moss does make it onto the field, his injuries may take away from his game. He won't have Culpepper throwing him the ball and overall, it looks like Moss won't be in the game, anyway. You have a great matchup in Smith vs. the Detroit secondary. Rod hasn't put up stellar numbers yet, but that will change Sunday. Start him and feel safe. Otherwise, you'll head into Sunday with an ulcer.

I'd love your feedback on my WR post. Thanks!

Who knows...he only plays when he wants to play.
Baseball players are smarter than football players. How often do you see a baseball team penalized for too many men on the field?

Sep 20- Minnesota starting WR D'Wayne bates has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Detroit because of a sprained foot.

Advice: Bates should be replaced in the starting lineup by Kelly Campbell.

Sep 24- The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Vikings’ wide receiver D’Wayne Bates, who missed their week three game with a sprained left foot, reported improvement on Monday. Bates will be listed as probable on the injury report.

Views: Bates began last week as probable too, before being ruled out on Friday. We’ll see if he can keep from aggravating the injury this week in practice. It might be a short run for Kelly Campbell in the starting lineup.
