All ive done is traditional snake, but im starting to get really intriguted by auction drafts and id like to learn more about them.

I am guessing that those choosing traditional snake draft have never tried an auction. It puts everyone on a level playing field and requires much more strategy. The ones I've had the pleasure of hosting are much more intense as well.

I'm with you. Auction is a much better option. From my experience once people try auction they rarely go back to snake. For whatever reason most people who were "raised" on snake drafts are usually a little hesitant to try an auction.
For those that prefer snake I'd be interested to hear why.

Definitely auction. The two aren't even close. Any team can get any player they want in an auction.
