I just had to post this.
My wife is in her first fantasy league this year (a league with some friends from a parents of twins forum of which she's a member). They had their draft last night...she picked 5th overall out of 12 teams. Here's her first 5 picks in no particular order:
LaDainian Tomlinson
Willie Parker
Larry Fitzgerald
Donald Driver
Antonio Gates
I'm sorry but that's just sick. Peyton Manning went #2 overall (which wasn't too bad with their scoring system...she was actually considering him for #5 when I showed her how far above all the other QB's he was in their system). Tom Brady immediately went at #3 then.

I was running around the living room laughing maniacly and she told me to sit down and stop being a geek. Honestly though can anyone here say they wouldn't do the same thing if that happened in one of their drafts?
As you can see, the humor didn't stop there. QB's continued to be taken early and often in a league that only starts 1 QB. I convinced her to be patient and she ended up with Chris Simms and Jon Kitna as her QB's (again, she only starts 1). I wish I had her entire roster handy but I think she has Kevin Jones and Tatum Bell as her backup RB's, Terry Glenn and Laveranues Coles as her backup WR's, Stover as her kicker and Washington as her defense. Her backup TE and DEF suck because CBS's draft software is a piece of crap and she couldn't find the players she wanted for those last two picks and got autopicked but there's plenty left on the wire for her to pick up to fill in the holes. I think she's projected to outpoint the nearest person by about 8%.
Too bad all my drafts don't end up like that.
