tried to use some player effects and blended like 3 pics into the bg, started with a gradient and went from there. let me know what you think.

It's pretty nice. Maybe try some lighting effets, and putting a drop shadow on the text. I like the text on this btw.

The Golden Gate or whatever bridge just looks weird. You can blend whatever you want into the bg, but don't make them stand out too much.

Also, lower opacity of the pattern and change the text. And that's not much of a pic effect... add some levels or something to him.

I like what you went with here, but like SPC said, change the text and maybe blend the bridge and the pattern in more. Like I said, I like what you went with, but it'd be even better with these small changes.

I like it ... I'd just do a little bit with the text, and try to blend in the bridge, just like the other guys said.
