Anybody play Battlefield 2??

Postby Twisted Sister » Mon Aug 21, 2006 1:26 pm

Is this game all it's cracked up to be... I may wait till Battlefield 2047 to play... any thoughts?

I'm really only interested in Online Multiplayer.

You need to have a really good CPU to run it. I used to play it, and still have it installed but never got into it that much.

I also played it for a good while... it was amazing for the first few months, then (IMHO) the developers overly patched the game in weird attempts to "balance" the gameplay based on the minority of outspoken crybabies on various forums. I haven't picked the game back up since patch 1.2 or 1.3 or so. But, it's a really fun game and I can't wait for 2047... that's probably the next time I play a BF game though.

IF you like large scale FPS games with many vehicles BF2 is for you. Some very good action but also some very annoying things. Overall I like the game and play it at least a couple times a week.
