Ok i know this year he'll likely be splitting carries and be a large part in the passing game. But what about 2007, 08, 09 etc. Deuce has a huge contract, that NO wont be able to trade away. So i'm just wondering what can we expect from Reggie Bush after this season?

PURE AND UTTER DOMINANCE. Next year, they will make Deuce a 3rd round back and Reggie will shine.

I think it is quite possible to see that happen this season. Reggie Bush should be the guy to get the ball on 1st and 2nd downs, and Deuce can become a power-runner (which I think suits his style a little better) on 3rd down. If you watched the game tonight, you noticed that Deuce looked comfortable and strong running up the middle (granted it only was two carries), and Reggie is better once he gets to the second level, and especially off the tackle.

The Saints are going to adjust the play-calling in the regular season to utilize these strengths, which is why I see Deuce scoring 8 - 10 TDs this year as they will use him as a short-yardage, goal-line type runner, with Reggie being the home run guy.

Put me down for 'not even close'.

I did draft him in the 4th round, but c'mon. It takes more than one nice run in pre-season to garner that lofty status.

He's on my trading block (he's my 3rd RB), and I'm hoping some noob buys into the overhype and offers me a top 12ish WR.

It's a winners league though, so I doubt they are that gullible.

Why would they make Deuce a 3rd down back when they have Reggie Bush on their team? Deuce is a great back and a good receiver but Bush is electric with the ball in his hands and would especially dangerous on 3rd down since he can beat you running or receiving.

If he stays healthy Bush should be great. Only time will tell.
