How highly do all of you value Steven Jackson for a redraft league for this year?

I think that LJ, LT, and shaun alexander are all clearly ahead of him.

I also think that Portis and Barber are ahead of him.

I know a lot of people would also put Edge in front of him, but I'm not so sure about his situation in Arizona, as in if Arizona's o-line can give him a chance.

What do you guys think about Steven Jackson?

I didn't get the chance at #8 to pick Edge over SJax but if he'd been available, I still would have taken SJax.

ANd now that I have him, he better produce. Or I swear I won't pick him again next year! That'll teach him.....

Sjax is going to produce this year do not worry. It's the rest of the Rams I'm worried about. That O-Line, that Defense... That QB... That new coach... :-P

I like Edge over S-Jax simply because he's more proven and durable, and I like that in my #1 pick. But I have Jackson right after Edge in my rankings - it's very close IMO.

6th overall in redraft
5th overall in dynasty/keeper

Unlimited ceiling, perfect mold, ability to receive, younger than guys like even Ronnie Brown, more proven than most of the younger RBs, and his numbers can only improve with Mad Mike gone. (As an OC he does wonders for RBs, but with total control as Head coach, he kills their fantasy potential).

S Jax has a very high ceiling. I would take him 5th in most drafts.

In our 8 man re-draft I took R.Brown 6th overall. Tiki went two picks later, E.James went next and I selected S-Jax two picks after James. And incredibly Portis fell all the way to me in the 3rd RD! How's that for a starting trio I can start every week. And bye weeks I have to settle for J.Lewis, L.Maroney and F.Gore.

I'd take him 4th overall, but I'm not as high on Tiki or Portis as most others are/were. He's been #4 the entire time.

Hopefully I won't get the 4th pick and I can take him with the 6th pick, but if I get #4 that's who I'm taking.

I'd also take R Brown 5th - so many of the people who post in here think I'm an idiot.

That's okay though, if everyone thought alike we wouldn't have to have a draft. We could just assign players based on thier rankings.
