I don't know if this request is out of the question but, I was just wondering if some of the veteran artists on the board could give me and other aspiring signature artists some pointers on your trade. I have Gimp which is a decent freeware (photoshop is too pricey). Maybe u could put a link to another site for instruction or just give some tips urself? If your too busy or just don't feel like it, I completely understand. Thanks in advance

well been doin research, Gimp is a free software that if understood and known well can be used just as well as photoshop.
Gimp can be downloaded on download.com here:
http://www.download.com/The-GIMP/3000-2 ... ag=lst-0-1
tutorials on how to use gimp can be found on their website here:
http://www.gimp.org/tutorials/
Again thats all I can contribute to this thread because I am a newbie to this, if you have any other programs or tips and watnot feel free to share

I think everyone that started on Gimp and has moved to Photoshop will tell you they wish they started on Photoshop from the beginning. It's really no comparison.
