Slow start or signs of Apocolypse?

Postby deftdelivery » Fri Sep 26, 2003 6:21 pm

Ok maybe not apocolypse, but are Tiki Barber and Deuce McAllister's lack of TD's this year concerning anyone?

They both have produced a decent amount of yards this year (except for McAllister's ridiculous 8 yard game), so that doesn't concern me...but they don't seem to be finding the endzone much.

Is this a slow start or will they continue to struggle to find pay dirt?

Slow start for those two guys. I have to say, one of the things I'm most mystified about so far is the overall lack of production by the Saints offense.

Yup. definetly a slow start. I agree that offense at NO is not clicking inspite of having the right pieces.
Looks like they have last season hangover , where they just missed the playoffs.

I agree, I don't think a player can ahve those kind of stats, for more than one year, and then just stink. (unless they get injured, like K. Warner)

Seems like everyone is either hurting or starting slow.

I wouldn't fret. Feel lucky they aren't shelved.
