I too, hope you keep up with the leagues you've started/joined.
I'm going to take this time to brag. My son and I ran a mile yesterday. I run everyday, but this is the first time he's wanted to come along. Of course, I didn't push it like usual, since I wanted him to be able to keep up. I did, however, keep up a pretty steady pace that gradually increased and he kept up with me the whole way and was pretty excited to have run it the whole time. We did it in about 6:45. He's 6.
I can see it now, 2020 olympics, gold medal winner in 100 meters.

Man School doesn't suck. You will learn in a few years that having to work for a living sucks worse. This isd the time of your life. Enjoy it while it lasts. I know most youngsters do not take the advice of older people. I have both 11 and 17 year old boys who think I don't know anything. Take this advice and do well in school but don't spend so much time that you don't have some fun to. Balance both if possible. Cause once you get out of school the fun time will not be as available as it is now.
After you finish school you will have 40 -50 years of work before you can retire and not have to do either school or work.
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.
