madden 06...does anyone still play it?

Has anyone noticed that T.J. Houshmandzadeh is spelled T.J. Houshmandz?

It's because they cut off really long names. Big Ben was like Ben Roethlisbergr.

i still play '06 for PS2; awesome game. from what ive heard about '07 for 360 and since we're getting a 360 for christmas, i may try to convince my brothers to hold off on getting a new one until '08.

06 is a great game, no need to buy 07 unless you really want those updated rosters. I've played 07 a few times and found the blocking thing almost useless. Not worth $50.

07 is one of the worst Madden's I've played. I've been addicted to the franchise for 10 years and I bought 07 on launch day and haven't even bothered to play it since a few days afterwards.

EDIT: I am referring to the XBox 360 version...I've heard the prev gen consoles versions are quite different though.

agree totally, i rented it from blckbuster, thank god, and i hated it. I play NCAA everyday though, i had that since i got my 360 back in July

I play 04 my favorite madden!

I have some great memories with that game. I remeber gaining the single game rushing record with Vick, he had about 400 yards. He is so overrated in that game.

I've been playing it, and I have to say that I'm really unimpressed with SuperStar Mode. Repetitive much?
Anyways, I've been playing a dynasty, and I can't figure out where you can change your strategy: IE run/pass ratio, base defense formation, etc.
They didn't take that out, did they?

I've spent a lot of time updating the rosters. Adding all the rookies, updating player ratings, and cutting/signing free agents.

It would be so much easier to do if you could turn off salary cap and roster requirements.
