I don't mind have the handcuff and being excited for the potential of a handcuff to be a starter...

wishing DD or any other player harm... is LAME. Get a life folks.

If you read the posts, they're not wishing harm on anyone - just anxious for a decision to be made regarding DD's roster status. Big difference there, buddy.

I would venture to say that getting a life would not consist of trying to cast for Siskel & Ebert & Mother Theresa of the Fantasy Football messageboards, but hey that's just me. :-t

And like the previous poster pointed out, you were off base with your attempt anyhow.

If my typing on the keyboard somehow voodooed Dominick's bloated knee any further I sincerely apologize to Dom and his family. :,-(

Didn't have an issue with your post. Like I said, nothing wrong with being excited that you drafted smartly (and got a high value handcuff).

Teams have until 6pm tomorrow (Saturday) to announce their final roster cuts. My guess is that the Texans will decide before then if they want DD to be on the IR or not. Todays news, though, continues to look not so good.

"We want him to play," owner Bob McNair said of Davis, who has run for 3,195 yards in his three Texans seasons. "We want him to get well. But it's not a very optimistic outlook because of the condition of his knee. It's just not very positive right now."

uhhhh... REALITY check here folks. This is FANTASY. It wouldn't matter what anyone wished. Thoughts don't have magical powers. But, I think everyone whos been on here for long enough knows, I am not a person to wish anyone harm. I simply hope my waiver wire pickup pays off.

I can't beleive I am defending myself for this, but.....
Even if DD doesn't get IR, he is hurt, and his knee will not be okay for him. My hoping that the decision is made to put him on IR has NOTHING to do with his injury, or what caused his injury, or my desire to see his career harmed. Its simply a matter of hoping a hurt guy, gets put on IR, so that the backup I snagged can play.

Have you ever watched real football? Have you ever wished your teams linebackers would smear the opposing teams QB? Lets don't be self righteous or hypocritical.

I've been to college (small local games) where fans would be rooting for the QB to have his legs broke. This is double AA ball... just young kids playing.

I remember once instance where a guy and his nephew (about 8 years old) were sitting behind us. Guy rooting for his own team's QB to get a broken leg so that the other QB will get a shot. The young nephew, not knowing any better, started parroting him.

My buddy turned around and said - in as nice a manner as possible - that it was really inappropriate to be shouting such things. The response... "shut you f@g." Nice lessons this guy is teaching an 8 year old. I have no respect for those type of fans.

If someone was wishing major harm on another (a good sack or stuff is just part of the game)... yeah, I'll call them out. Call it self-righteous if you will.

Now, it sounds like we just had some over-anxious people here... but nobody actually wished harm on DD. So I'm cool with moving on.
