Colts Make 1st Roster Cuts

DB, Jammal Lord was the only player of note. No surprises here, but I'd love to see WR, Terrence Wilkins and QB, Shaun King make the team.

Colts Release 10 Players to Reduce Roster to 75
INDIANAPOLIS – The Colts moved closer to a final roster Monday.
The Colts, keeping with NFL guidelines, waived 10 players on Monday, meeting the league mandate that teams trim their rosters to 75 players by 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The waived players:

Defensive end Phillip Alexander, defensive end Justin Brown, wide receiver Montiese Culton, wide receiver Ashlan Davis, defensive lineman Jason Davis, defensive tackle Kader Drame, defensive back Shannon Fitzhugh, tight end Joey Hawkins, defensive back Jammal Lord and defensive lineman Mark Word.

Teams must trim their rosters to 53 by September 2.
