is this just a case of people wanting the unknown w huge upside over a sure thing, sure Edge is on a new team but w a lethal offense & remember Peyton threw so many TD's , Edge has no vulture, a great offense
Ronnie has a QB coming of a major injury, no track record, never carried a full load
just wondering why the consensus is Brown over Edge
i am w the Brown party as well, just trying to make a case for Edge
SUPERBOWL , Who so start at Wide out ???? please help
No question. Brown over Edge. The man split carries 60/40 last year and still rushed for over 900 yards. He had 4.4 ypc. He has no TD vulture, and with a Pro Bowl qb there now Defenses can't focus on the run so much.
I prefer Ronnie over Edge in a keeper, but I tihnk it's mighty close in a redraft. I would lean more towards Ronnie there as well. I am not optimistic about Edge and I think the Dolphins have the weapons and defense to help him out. ARI may be involved in its fair share of shoot-outs.
I don't care about the O-line as much as I do the offense. Arizona to me looks like a terrific place for a fantasy RB to call home. They have two guys capable of catching virtually every important pass thrown their way. 3rd down conversions = more plays. With Edge on the team they can start running more than passing, but they still are going to move the ball and keep the chains moving.
Miami has a new QB and a new offensive coordinator. Marty Booker vs. Anquan/Fitz at WR2.. Leinhart backing up Warner vs. Harrington backing up Culpepper. The divisions could be similar, but I just love owning players out of the NFC West, that's just me.
Conclusion= I have Edge several spots ahead of Ronnie Brown. I know what he can do, and I like his situation better as well. I don't see Edge pulling a JJ Arrington, because frankly he is a much better player than JJ Arrington.
