Travis Henry to start?

Yeah, right. Anyone who has seen Henry run since he left Buffalo knows he has nothing left. Looks terrible in preseason. This doesn't make the least bit of sense. Just ignore it.
The facts have no meaning.

I am also in the boat that Brown is going to be traded-

He noted that his agent was still looking for a trade while he played... So my guess is that he lands in Houston or JAcksonville-

anyways- it will be intereseting to watch this for the next week or so-

Yeah...because the preseason means so much. LaDanian has 0.0 YPC this preseason...everybody PANIC!

i look at it this way, if you have someone you can drop for him, it's worth a gamble to pick him up

this will just suck if Brown is the one to get traded and isn't the starter on that new team... another RB down the tubes :~(
here's to hoping it was just a stupid reporters rumor

If brown goes to either of those teams he's the backup, which just makes matters worse.

What exactly did Chris Brown do to Fisher? Sleep with his dtr, wife, pet? Why would he want to risk his job a Henry? Henry has looked spent for two years. This doens't make much sense.

I got this report today from FantasyGuru.com:

Tenn RB Update:
In case you haven’t heard, there’s a report on CBS Sportsline that states
Titan RB Travis Henry is expected to start Week One. We called our
contact in Tennessee who covers the team on Wednesday afternoon and
here’s what he said: He said RB Chris Brown is still the starter; he was
watching Brown taking reps with the ones on the practice field when he
said it. Now, he did say he believes Henry will get his share of touches,
maybe even a lot of touches here and there, but Brown is still
the starter. On the speculation that the ‘news’ on Henry could be related
to a possible trade of Brown, whose agent has been clamoring for one, our
insider said it’s not out of the question, but certainly not probable. He
feels this team is in dire need of playmakers and giving up one of their
better ones could be a mistake.

On rookie LenDale White, he’s still 3rd in line here, and he still has to
learn what it takes to be a pro. If he does later in the season, the job
could be his, especially if the team is well out of the playoff race.

Awesome. I feel like I just got felt up on a first date and didn't get any flowers. I bought into this story hook line and sinker. Brown and Henry were sitting on the wire, and I was looking to dump G Jones. Hearing this, I jumped on Henry remembering his glory years of 14-1500 yd seasons thinking this could be a total steal. Going from Brown who sits out because his feelings got hurt to Henry who plays on a broken figgin' leg! Instead my butt just stings. :-[
