Denver looks to trade RB

Aug 30 Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports it would not be a surprise to see the Denver Broncos try to trade a running back before the season starts. They still have five players at running back, a very deep position for the team. RBs Mike Bell, Tatum Bell, Ron Dayne, Cedric Cobbs and Damien Nash remain on the roster. The Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins reportedly remain interested in acquiring a running back.

So Bill Williamson thinks Denver should trade a RB.

I wish my opinions could go into print and be considered news.

To me, this just makes it seem more likely that Dayne gets cut. They like Cobbs and Nash so someone is expendable.

Denver will probably trade Cobbs and cut Dayne it's as simple as that. Or they might do only one or the other.

at this point the denver post has more gossip than page six in the NY Post. while i wouldn't be shocked to see it happen it still holds little water considering the source.

Actually, it doesn't even begin to hold water. It would be just as credible if you or I said Jake Plummer is on the trading block because Cutler has looked so good. Even if Shanny himself said it I wouldn't believe it until it happened. Everyone knows he's a sneaky rat fink.

I'd love to see Tatum Bell in Indy's backfield except for the fact he would have to compete with Rhodes and Addai.

I don't see why Indy would need another RB. They already have Rhodes and Addai.
