The Eagles released wide receiver Todd Pinkston on Wednesday, the team's official web site reported. The Eagles selected Pinkston in the second-round of the 2000 draft, and he caught 184 passes for 2,816 yards and 14 touchdowns during over the past six seasons.

Our View
It was a pretty good run in Philly for Pinkston, but the torn Achilles that he suffered last August is still hindering him and the club has some newfound depth with guys like Donte Stallworth, Hank Baskett, and Jason Avant. Pinkston will undoubtedly catch on somewhere, but we don't foresee much fantasy value this season.
