Best sites for updated player news

Postby summerallsliver99 » Wed Aug 30, 2006 2:00 pm

OK, I've been trying to get together my bookmarks for this season so I can keep tabs on my team. I've got the usuals (Yahoo, Google, CBS sportsline), but I'd like to find some better more specific sources of info. Here are the best 2 I've been able to find:

1. http://www.xpertsports.com - pretty good source for a lot of news

2. http://www.sportstrackr.com - nice site that compiles news from the major sites (yahoo, etc), local news sites and even blogs.

Any other sites people know that i can add????

thx

The site above takes advantage of a collective membership that scours most of the web for player update news. ;-D

On Sunday morning, I've typically found watching Countdown and waiting for the Mort report to be the best last minute resource.

I keep the a http://www.rotoworld.com page bookmarked for each of my players. With Firefox, I can open them all simultaneously in tabs and browse the news for all of my players easily.

I know this has nothing to do with this post, but in honor of today being the 1st day of football, I've decided to call in sick to work, get very drunk and play out an entire season for the 1991 NY Giants in Tecmo Super Bowl.
