Looking for a few quality fantasy football players to join us in a competitive national 12 team league. This league will be run at fanball.com. I am running it cooperatively with a friend of mine for the past 2 years who's an avid fantasy player as am I (been playing about 7 years). This is a formation of a new league.

If you're looking for your first league to get into this year, or maybe this is the one last one that isn't too expensive but want to play with some good guys, you've found your league. If you are a guy who likes to flame or rip on other people, please move on. Having fun is the most important thing here folks...

League Format: 12 Team H2H “Double Header” format
Draft: Live Draft League on September 6th at 8:00pm EST (Draft should take approx 2 hours)
League Fee: $50.00
Non-Keeper League - Redraft Next Year

12 Teams – 1 division. You play each team once for an 11 week season. Top 4 teams make the playoff’s. Season ends in week 14.

Superbowl Loser: $125.00
3rd Place Team: $90.00
4th Place Team: $50.00

Rosters: 16 positions (11 Starting – 5 Backups)
Active: QB,QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,WR,TE,K,D + 1 Flex RB/WR/TE

Scoring
Throwing TD = 6 points
Throwing INT = -2 points
Throwing 2-pt conversion = 2 points
1 point for every 25 yards completed
2 bonus points for reaching 301 passing yards

Rushing TD = 6 points
Rushing Fumble Lost = -2 points
Rushing 2-pt conversion = 2 points
1 point for every 10 yards rushed
2 bonus points for every 100 rushing yards

Receiving TD = 6 points
Receiving Fumble Lost = -2 points
Receiving 2-pt conversion = 2 points
1 point for every 10 yards receiving
2 bonus points for every 100 receiving yards

Kicking FG 0-39 yards = 3 points
Kicking FG 40-49 yards = 4 points
Kicking FG 50+ yards = 5 points
Missed FG = -1 points

Defensive TD = 6 points
Fumbles Recovered = 1 point
Defensive Interceptions = 2 points
Points Allowed
Sacks = 1 point
Score = shutout = 10 points
Score = 1 – 9 = 6 points
Score = 10 – 19 = 3 points
Score = 20 – 29 = 0 points
Score = 30 – 99 = -2 points

Special Teams play scores no points.

Glad you have interest in the league! I sent you a private email with much of the same information below, but I'm going to post it here too for your reference and that of others.

#1) I need your full name, address, and a contact phone number.
#2) I need to know the team name you desire to use.

At this point, I have no problem putting you in the league, but I'll expect a paypal payment immediately of $52.00 for the league fee as I stated in the cafe. I understand this may come off a little strong and maybe not typical but I'm tired of being the commissioner who has to chase and track down inbound payments. So if you plan to pay by check, that's fine, but I'm going to have to delete you back out of the league, wait for your check and as long as it comes in on-time, I can reinstate you. I'm not going to hold positions in the league on "promises" that money is in the mail. Been burned one too many times. I hope you understand, and if you want to talk personally on the phone about this, you can call my cell at 760-889-4925 or give me your phone number and I'll give you a call. Ideally, you would go ahead and give me the information above and paypal the $52.00 league fee immediately.


As for anybody else who wants to join, the same rules apply. I need your contact info and team name. I'm not opposed to putting you in the league prior to payment just so you can feel comfortable with the situation, but I will not hold spots. Payment prior to putting you in is preferred. ANYBODY who wants in is MORE than welcome to give me a call if they have any concerns.
