Last year the Giants started using him as a goal line punch, and I read an article where the team wants to get him even more involved.
Do you think he's actually a low yardage, high TD back worthy of a 3rd or 4th spot on a roster?

I actually drafted him as my fourth last night, but am always curious to see if my opinions are in line with the Cafe.

Who would get Tiki's touches? Why not him?

Giants | Jacobs showing a new level of maturity Sat, 19 Aug 2006 07:40:06 -0700
Arthur Staple, of Newsday, reports New York Giants RB Brandon Jacobs, has been showing head coach Tom Coughlin some new maturity over the first two preseason games. "The experience factor is there and he is aware of his surroundings and the pressure situations, his awareness of who his responsibilities are, I think I definitely see that," Coughlin said. Jacobs rushed for a team-high 40 yards on nine carries Thursday, Aug. 17, and his second-quarter touchdown, a signature bull rush from a yard out, showed some of that experience. RB Derrick Ward was supposed to, with Jacobs; fight for time behind Barber, but Ward's broken foot will almost certainly render him a non-factor for much of the season. Jacobs has been learning to lower his hips and bend his knees more when he runs, not just for the ability to be more agile with the ball but to preserve himself from hard hits.

Tiki has as much as conceeded redzone duties to Jacobs, so he should be a real good vulture, #4/5 RB on most teams. Should Tiki get hurt I could see Jacobs getting most of the carries. I don't know that the Giants have anyone who is better.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?
