Who is Portis's backup?

I'd bet on that as well. Without portis looks like betts and duckett will share. I'm not going to start either of them if portis doesn't play.

Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one around here who's old enough to have had TD Tommy on a fantasy team...

Yeah, I would expect that the 2 backups will split time if Portis doesn't play. But I don't expect that Portis will miss much, if any, time. Add in that Saunders loves Betts, and has from day one, and you've got yourself a RBBC, at least while Portis doesn't play.
