I actually had Seattle as my first choice, but then decided against it because of the travel - and we all know what happened to them the last time they went to Detroit

Why has nobody here suggested New England over Buffalo?!.. That's the lock of the week for me. Buffalo NEVER wins at New England. They rarely win on the road period. The QB matchup is JP Losman v. Tom Brady. What do you really think is going to happen in this game?..

Seems like a more secure pick for me than a west coast team travelling across the country to play on the road against a team with a new coach that might be a bit improved over last year. I'd also prefer to hold off on playing SEA until one of their later home games against teams like Oakland, Green Bay, and San Francisco. Those look like much surer things than the Detroit game.
