1. Listing a Kicker as a sleeper is lame

2. Shaun Alexander is a S-T-U-D

3. Steve Smith not top 12? i hope that means not top 12 overall and not at WR

other than that not a whole lot i'd argue with...don't agree with all of it, bu nothing glaring IMO

My thoughts:

- The Clarence Moore pick made me think. I know the name, but I have not heard it in about a year. I will have to look him up to see why he is picking him.

- I don't agree with T.O. as a stayaway player, but I can see how he made this list.

- I don't see any reason why Shaun Alexander shouldn't be in the top 2 - you could just as easily put Larry Johnson or LT's name in this spot. But he makes a bold prediction, nonetheless ;-7

- I think he is pretty much right about the "Worse than people think" list except for Alexander.

- Does anyone else think it's weird that Kitna is "Better than people think", but his top WR, Roy Williams is someone to be avoided? :-?

- The Sleepers list looks like the same list I have seen everyone else throw out there. Not too hard to pick all the rookie RBs in the league as sleepers. As a matter of fact, I am of the belief that there is no such thing as a "RB sleeper" in competitive leagues, especially this close to the start of the season. RBs are researched to the point that most serious FFers can name every NFL teams' top 3 RBs on the roster off the top of their head.

- Not sure why I should care about K sleepers. And if I did, I wouldn't pick the Atlanta K as a sleeper. Their running game is too good to be kicking very many field goals.

Nah. People here do it. There was even a thread asking what defenses/kickers to look for and this was one of the responses.

maddog60 wrote:Matt Koenen. Kid is 5/5 will 2 kicks for 50+ yards, the other 3 from 40-49 yards. He's a converted 2nd year punter who had a 58-yarder last year. He will be the this year's Rackers, and he's finally in Yahoo's DB. He costs nothing (last round or free agent pickup) and he's got all the makings of an impact fantasy kicker.

Just my hunch, but Kicker's are random enough I think his potential alone makes him my favorite target.

I like the Sports Guy. Just seem like he's written all of the original columns he's going to write. Too bad.

Problem is that by the time someone tells guys like the sports guy who is a sleeper, everyone in the know already knew. Wali Lundy, who's that?

I disagree with 4 of the first 5 on the Stayaway list, with Stallworth always being someone to stay away form. At least as a starter.

SA is solid no matter where you pick him. To not take him 1 or 2 is simply becuase of preferrence as much as anything else. Had he added a high probability of him sitting during the playoffs, then I'm buying.

I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

I like Roy Williams this year. He's a third year WR in a passing system. Kitna is a (slight) upgrade at QB and Roy finished '05 strong.

McGahee isn't going to be making any leaps this year.

And how is Reggie Brown worse than people think? He goes pretty late (Round 8+) in the drafts I've been in.
