Wow!!!

That NFC East really looked like gangbusters this weekend!

Let's see, 1-4 and the only win comes from the team playing last years worse team in the league.

Yeah that NFC East is by far the best division in the NFL!

yea, and the giants and cowboys had two tough games. ITs not the eagles fault they beat the lowly texans, they were suppossed to be last anyway.

I think its a tad premature to draw any major conclusions.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

Wow, sounds like your a little jealous of the attention the NFC East is getting... calm down.

BTW - Giants and Eagles looked real good. Giants lost to the Colts, but they could be for real this season. Cowboys and Redskins... give it time. I believe the Skins didn't make a move till the latter part of '05.

NFC East last year generated two playoff teams, and Dallas almost got in too. Philly's improved on offense, Eli's a year older, Skins added players is key spots (pass-rush DE, tackler SS, a solid WR opposite Moss, and a legitimate PR), and Dallas added one of the best WR in the league. The point is, there is no weak team in the NFC East. Even the very strong AFC North has the cruddy Browns.

By the way, did anyone see the game last night? Minnesota looks for real. Hutchinson & co. were blowing guys off the line and opening huge holes for Taylor, while giving Johnson time in the pocket. The Cover 2 they were using neutralized Washington's biggest threat - their three fast WR, while still stopping the run. I do, however, think that they were able to run so many cover-2 and cover-3s because Portis didn't see much time, and when he did, he was going at half-speed.

I think the NFC North is a strong division except for Green Bay. Chicago looks fantastic, Minnesota looks formidable, and Detroit almost upset last year's NFC Champ.

I don't know what you Cowboys fans see in that team, to make it look like such a great threat. Let's wait for a few wins before we send them to a super bowl.

I am suprised how strong the NFC North looks, outside of Green Bay all those teams look solid.

The NFC South is much the same though the Saints may be on the upswing.

What makes the NFC East so good is that there aren't any weak teams. There's no Green Bay of the NFC East.

give it a rest dude its only been one week... according to this logic we have the Jets and the Saints aomng the best teams in the league and the Carolina Dallas and NYGiants among the worst :-?

All three teams (well maybe not the redskins ;-7 ) played against very tough teams... Jax finished last season 12-4 and is among the favorites to make the playoffs this year and to be honest only won the game because Bledsoe handed it to them. The Giants lost to one of the top-4 teams in the league and even then gave a tremendous fight. And the skins could have won but the K missed a 40 yarder for the tie

Its only one week so if I were you I'd wait a bit more before making senseless comments... and remember late nineties when Atlanta got to the SB they lost their first 2 games before wining their last 14 so this means nothing

well I'm not one of those fans that immediately sent the to the SB after the TO signing, but the team clearly has potential. The D was tremendous in the preseason but was somewhat ineffective in the season opener, but given time I'm sure they'll get it together. T Newman is the most underrated CB in the league and the pass rush will only improve. The problem here clearly lies on Bledsoe's shoulder. The O-line, contrary to other opinions, was actually giving him some time yet he missed simple passes and underthrew his targets routinely

I'm not saying they're going to theSB or not, but the team showed that it can have a scary O when Bledsoe is accurate (like the first drives) and D can be dominant, its just a matter of Bledsoe showing up and putting the ball in the WRs hands

dallas needs to keep bledsoe upright. And TO healthy, he hasn't finished a season in a while.

The thing is, I highly doubt each team is going to pick up two against the eagles this year.

I think that while jax is good and vikings could be, the only team that had any excuse to lose was new york, and they kind of got jobbed, they could have opened it up.

While jax is good, I think that's the type of game a team should win if they are true contenders. I don't know what to think about the skins, taylor looked good, but then again they didn't tear it up either.

At any rate, one team is going to be 0-2, and two teams could be 0-2 after next weekend. And if the Giants lose to the eagles, they might really be behind the 8ball having to play seattle the week after that.
