The Lions starting Wide Receiver's?

Postby kevster1 » Sat Sep 02, 2006 1:07 pm

Obviously Roy Williams is one starter, but who will be the second starter? With Roger's gone, and Mike Williams probably the Number 3 on the team, "I am realy not sure". It may be Corey Bradford, but he never has been very comfortable as a starter. In Mike Marks offense their could be some value in anyone playing opposite Roy williams.

Not very good, but a guy like Bradford has some speed, and may develope into someone who produces.

What about Mike Williams, he should be the number 2.

Is that who he means by "Furry?"

It seems that he should given that he was all world in college, but it seems that the coaching staff is less then thrilled with him. I feel that Williams needs a couple of breakout games in order to become the productive receiver nearly everyone thought he would be.

Oh, Mike Furrey, sorry. Never heard of him. A guy not drafted, out of Northern Iowa. I'll bet Mike Williams can become the #3 at least.

"The Titans have Givens". Even the coaching staff in Detroit is up in the air on who will start opposite Williams. As of today they still have Rogers high on the depth chart even though he is no longer with the team.
