With Deion Branch seemingly ready to sit out the season or be traded, and everone in love with Chad Jackson, I really like Reche Caldwell as a sleeper WR this year. Tom Brady has to get 300 yards passing a game from somewhere, and Caldwell was impressive in San Diego last year before he was hurt. I know the Pats just picked up Gabriel, but Caldwell should still be the #1 WR right??

Anyways, what are everones thoughts on Caldwell, and what kind of stats should we expect???

Unfortunately a career year for Reche would be getting 400 yards receiving and 4 TD's.

Reche has big problem holding the ball...he runs nice routes

but constantly gets hit from behind and drops the ball. And occasionally has stone hands.

I actually like Caldwell as a sleeper, too. I agree with the Ben Watson predictions, he will be a top 10 TE this year, maybe top 5, but Caldwell isn't a bad pick either. Just got him in the last round of one of my drafts.

I got lucky and someone in my league dropped Watson to pick up Alex Smith (TB), couldnt believe it so I jumped on it. Now I just have to decide between Cooley and Watson every week.

Caldwell very well might have a career year....too bad topping 28 catches for 352 yards isn't saying much. He's not a good player who you don't want on your fantasy squad imo.
