My Longhorns Choked

Postby JayM09 » Sat Oct 12, 2002 8:20 pm

I cant believe my longhorns lost again for the third straight year to the hated sooners. only one good thing can come out of this year is that this is Chrissy Simms last year. sure will be glad when he is gone...

Simms is a solid quarterback and a good prospect, there's just something to him that makes him struggle in big games. He chokes in almost all big games. He doesn't look comfortable in the pocket,he misses open receivers, and he keeps the ball to long. For Texas to get the championship this year they would have had to play a pancake schedule and not play a Top 25 team.

They didn't choke, they were/are just overrated. This will become crystal clear after this weekend's game in Lubbock.
