Disappointed In Yahoo AutoDraft

Postby danfickle » Tue Sep 05, 2006 2:00 pm

On Sept. 4, Yahoo Autodrafted several players who were not even available. Don't they update the availble players roster?
Domanick Davis, Hou - RB, Announced out for season Sept. 2
Greg Jones, Jac – RB, Announced out for season August 28

The following have been cut and not picked up as of Sept. 4:
Martin Gramatica, NE – K, Released Aug. 23, still not on a team.
Charles Rogers, Det – WR, Cut by Lions Sept. 2, still no team
Chris Johnson, KC – D, Release announced Sept. 2

The following may play again, but their status is uncertain:
Chris Perry, Cin – RB, Physically Unable to Perform list announced Sept. 2, out at least 5 weeks.
Priest Holmes, KC – RB, Physically Unable to Perform list announced Sept. 2, out at least 5 weeks.
Deion Branch, NE – WR, Holding out for trade

You should have put them on your don't draft list when ranking your players.

Exactly. even if it's an autodraft, you have to prepare for it.

D Rankings in Yahoo

Postby doggie62 » Tue Sep 05, 2006 4:31 pm

What is it about Yahoo and the ranking of the D players.

They are not anywhere near what they should be.

in my first yahoo IDP draft i was shocked at how bad the defensive player rankings were. you might as well just put the list in alphebetical order.

If you pre-ranked 150 players that shouldn't have happened - you can't rely on their rankings!!!

Yea, the league leaders in tackles, sacks and Ints are all in the middle or end of the lists.

Autodrafting is not a recommended way to draft.

Duh. Autodraft? You deserve those guys.

Just put them on your don't-draft list.
