PBC Week 1 Cowboy's @ Jaguars

Postby Cowboys 4 life » Tue Sep 05, 2006 4:00 pm

Who wants a piece. Jaguars are a team on the downslide. Cowboys on the upslide. I see this as an easy win for my boys.

Not even gonna be close. T.O's fired up and is gonna have a monster game. Our D is going to completely shut down their offense. I'm up for the challenge too.

Cowboys 27

Jaguars 10

I think it will be a very close, hard-fought game. The Cowboys are going to win but only by a hair. Winning on the road against Jacksonville is a tough task for any team.

I'm not taking this PBC challenge because I don't think there are any Jags fans here and this isn't a rivalry game.

I'm only hoping I don't kick myself for benching Bledsoe this week. I fear he could either have an OK game or a sucky game. Plus what's up with the head injury?

armchair you really think the Cowboys will score 27 points on the road vs a very stout D? Good luck to that...

Well, Mike Peterson is OUT for Jacksonville. I'm not sure how much that will help Bledsoe but it will certainly open up running lanes for JJ and MB3.

yeah but with henderson and stroud in the middle, it will still be a bumpy road. ;-)

From Rotoworld Guys,

Marcus Stroud was seen on crutches Thursday after hurting his ankle at practice Wednesday.

It looks like the Pro Bowler could miss his first game as a pro. He's now listed as questionable on the injury report. Coupled with MLB Mike Peterson's knee injury, Jacksonville's defense will not be at 100% for their bout with the Cowboys.

Looks like that bumpy road is now paved. Cowboys 27-10, you heard it hear first. That stout Jaguars D is not that stout to begin with. They played weak opponents last year down the stretch. Good luck trying to contain the Cowboys Offense. Im not worried about our D. Jacksonville will struggle just to move the ball.
