I feel your pain - although I didn't bench anyone for him. It was Brad Johnson's bye week.
At least Ramsey didn't fumble or throw an interception. If you need to blame someone, blame Spurrier for running the football all day. I'm actually more annoyed that I also own Canidate AND Betts, and Spurrier ran in the second Washington TD without using either of them!!
Ramsey didn't play poorly; it's just that the Redskins were playing with a lead the whole game and he didn't need to throw most of the second half. When he had his two big games before this week, they were playing from behind.
I see your point Free Bagel. Infact I did not draft him. I picked him off the waiver wire.
But our forum was very high, including myself on Ramsey. I benched McNair in favor of him. McNair scored 20+ FF compared to 5+ points by Ramsey. Ramsey had a good game overall but fantasy wise he was not that good.
I think if McNair would have a bad game too, my decision would not hurt that much.
If I could restate:
My decision to play Ramsey ahead of McNair killed my team.
Free Bagel wrote: Now, if your first round pick hadn't done anything the whole year you could say that, but to say your 14th round pick killed your team because he didn't put up 20 points in one game is ludicrous.
How about if my second round pick didn't do anything? If so, then I have vast reasons to bitch about Terrell Owens' performance!!!
