Interesting article in the paper today - the notorious New York media have their knives out and are ready to carve him up if he has another meltdown like he did at the end of last season. And of course all eyes will be focused on Manning vs Manning this weekend. Myself, I don't like him enough to draft him and he always goes way too early anyway. What kind of season do you see him having? Can he put it together for a full season this year?

I think he will have a slightly better year than last. I too let him pass in every draft. Not overwhelmed yet.

Call em as I see em!

He's going a tad too early this year. He was a great value pick as a #2 QB last year, but in a dynasty I suppose his upside/youth makes him worth where he's normally going.

Ahhh c'mon yous guys. Listen:

Peyton was better than his daddy, right? So Eli will be better than Peyton. Makes perfect sense. He's Manning version 3.0

I don't know what the problem is.

And hey, it's not like he's under any pressure playing in New York for a playoff contender.

The Giants have a nasty schedule this year, and Eli's problems will become clearer against them. He makes the occasional bad decision or just a plain bad throw, and teams will pick him off. The thing is, against their stronger schedule, those teams are going to be better at exploiting this weakness.

Teams w/ tough secondaries to play include: Philly, Seattle, Dallas, Tampa, Chicago, Jacksonville, Carolina...arguably Washington, if Shawn Springs is healthy. Those teams are 11 games on his docket this year.

Expect a junior slump from the junior Manning, although I think he bounces back for a good year next year.
