Carolina Panthers WR'S

I have noticed a trend that the past 2 years, the panthers have had the top WR numbers-wise in the NFL. This year, I see it no differently, but it won't be steve Smith. Call me whatever you want, but I think Keyshawn Johnson could easily make a run at top WR numbers in the league, he will be seeing single coverage most of the time and will see tons of looks and catches from Delhomme. It's one of his first jobs as a #2 WR and I am looking for him to flourish in it. While, he will still be there most likely in the 7th-8th round, I think he will be able to way overperform that draft stock.

i agree 99% i also drafted key along with jake. I look for big things out of car this year.

I agree Key will have much bigger role than most people think. But leading at WR? I still think Steve Smith will blow him away in total yards.

dude I will paper bag myself for life if this happens, put that in your sig too as long as you do it. there is no possible way Keyshawn puts up number 1 receiver yards, he hasn't done that in a while. Steve won't even do it again. look for TO or CJ this year to do it.

i have noticed this trend as well. had smith 3 years ago, mushin 2 years ago, smith last year. put up top 3 numbers in all my leagues all 3 years. delhomme's tunnel vision is great for fantasy football wr's

Delhomme is well known for his tunnel vision towards one WR on his team. I think all Keyshawn will be for them is a distraction for defenses making them have to cover 2 receivers instead of just one. I highly highly doubt that Keyshawn will take over as the one to whom Delhomme passes exclusively, Smith is simply just too explosive and too good to be passed up by a vet who is past his time. They will find ways to get Smith the ball, the only passes Keyshawn will get are to make sure the defense knows they "can" pass him the ball.

I think Keyshawn has about a .01% chance of being the league's leading WR this year.

Key will post very decent numbers. But SS will beat him handly in the end.

Jake's also a gunslinger type QB who loves to get it down-field. Keyshawn at this point in his career works it dirty underneath. That means Delhomme's tunnel vision goes to Smith and then dumps off to Johnson if he's desperate. I just don't see him making a huge impact.

I'm happy to have him as my #4 (1st backup). Took him in rd 8 i think...I'm also happy he's not a Cowboy because that means I can have him on my team again.

I expect 85rec, 1200yards, 6-10 TD, closer to 6.
