So who is the #1 pick overall?

So now that the preseason is over who would you take number one in a non- ppr league?

L. Johnson, S. Alexander, or LT?

Considering the season starts tomorrow you should have already drafted.... Alexander and LJ were the #1's in my two money leagues. Can't go wrong with any of the top 3.

I think more and more people were selecting LT. Non PPR I think I would go with LJ for sure.

The reason why I posed this question is because we had our draft today and I had the third pick, ending up with Larry Johnson, who I did not expect to get.

The number one pick in our league was LT in a non-PPR league. Alexander was second.

I talked to the guy who selected LT first overall and he said the reason he did not take Johnson was due to questions with the OL and he felt L. Johnson would be a mild bust this year.

That's my opinion for the most part as well, I had 3rd in one of my leagues and couldn't stop smiling when he "fell" to me. I just feel that in most leagues the top 3 will be very comparable point wise at the end of the season.

I'm sure LJ will be quite good. But...

a.)It will be his first full year starting - Tomlinson is a proven fantasy stud.

b.)What you're 'on pace' for means nothing. LJ is not going to rush for 3000 yards and 35 TDs folks.

For one thing all this talk of OL problems is overated, LJ is not. He will have the most yardage of the 3, and probably the second most touchdowns second to Alexander.

Of course, LT could easily make me eat crow.

I like LT at #1 because he's the safest pick that has produced consistantly for the last couple years. LJ is just too risky and could end up being a major bust.
