Jimmy Smith back this week?

He was suspended for the first 4 games right? Has anyone heard if he's coming back this week, if so what's his fantasy value? Should I grab him for a backup or trade bait?

I grabbed him since I had a roster spot after ditching CIN as my bye week def (SEA was off).

In my case, there was no risk at all. I guess it depends on the rest of your roster.

In todays fishwrap it says he will come back this wednesday.I am living in Jville so I will keep you posted on any breaking news.

BTW there are also rumors that the Jags will cut him.Wayne Weaver is upset that Smith lied right to his face concerning an earlier positive test for cocaine after being stopped by police after leaving an after hours club in dowtown Jville.

I just don't think he will be a big fantasy factor this year, especially with Leftwich at the helm.

I don't see how he will be able to come back this week after being out of football for so long and play good. I don't think he will be a factor this whole season. Leftwich is good, but I don' see him leading them to the playoffs.

Smith is good enough that he will come back and open it up a little more for the Jags....he has been staying in shape and working out, and from everything I have read we should know by Wednesday iif they make a roster spot for him for Sundays game.....personally I think he will be a little hungary to go after his 9th consecutive 1000 yard season.....
